FX500 Series 6-Puck Rigid Single Disc Clutch The versatile FX500 System uses either the Power Plus I or Power Plus II Pressure Plate along with a solid center 6 or 8Puck Ceramic Button disc.The FX500disc is designed for outstanding holding capacity and rapid heat dissipation. The FX500ceramic paddle design creates a quick and rapid engagement as well as clutch chatter that is not recommended for the street. Ceramic based clutch disc are not intended to increase the life expectancy of a clutch rather to increase the holding capacity and improve the durability of the clutch. Using a ceramic based material for easy street driving may reduce the life of the clutch kit due to harsh engagement and higher tendency to slip the clutch kit.
